What is NICE 2021?

NICE 2021 is a one-day annual conference that brings together the latest developments in clinical improvement, health technologies and patient-centred quality care.

What are the key themes?

The NICE 2021 themes will be determined over the coming months with more updates to be released this autumn. 

Who organises NICE 2021?

NICE 2021 is an event that runs in partnership between The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and Dods.

Where will NICE 2021 be held?

This one-day conference will take place at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel Manchester on 13 May 2021. There will be a pre-event networking reception at the venue on 12 May 2021 from 7pm.

How much does it cost to attend NICE 2021?

Prices for the conference, are available on our about pages.

Can I book my sessions in advance?

Yes, you can select the breakout sessions you would like to attend in advance during registration.

When will I receive my badge?

Your badge will be available for collection from the registration desk on arrival to the conference.

When will I receive the joining instructions for the event?

You will receive joining instructions via email one week prior to the conference. If you have not received any joining instructions, please email us at nice@dodsgroup.com.

What if I need to cancel my place at the event after I’ve registered?

Please email us at nice@dodsgroup.com to cancel your booking. Please be aware cancellation terms apply in the conference booking terms and conditions.

What are the cancellation terms after I've registered?

All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing nice@dodsgroup.com. If you cancel your booking less than 10 weeks prior to the event (13 May 2021) you will be charged 50% of the delegate fee. If you cancel less than 6 weeks prior to the event you will be charged the full delegate fee. This also applies to discounted bookings.

I booked for NICE 2020, due to take place on 11 November 2020 which has now been postponed. What now happens to my booking?

All delegate bookings will be automatically transferred to the new conference date. You will receive a notification from the NICE Conference Team about the amendment to your booking. If you have not received this, please contact NICE@dodsgroup.com

I booked for NICE 2020 and I am unable to attend the new date of 13 May 2021?

Please contact NICE@dodsgroup.com who will be able to assist. 

When will I receive my invoice for the event?

Invoices will be emailed to everyone one month prior to the event date. If you require your invoice before this, please email nice@dodsgroup.com.

Will the presentations from NICE 2021 be put up online after the event?

We will work with our speakers to upload as many presentations as possible. Some presentations will not be uploaded if the speaker has not given us permission to do so.

Is NICE 2021 CPD accredited?

Yes, the event is CPD accredited. NICE 2021 has been accredited for Continuing Professional Development credits. One hour of learning at NICE equates to one CPD credit, for example the full day of attendance will equate to 6 CPD credits. If you would like an electronic copy of your CPD certificate emailed to you after the conference, or would like more information, please contact nice@dodsgroup.com.

Will my data be shared, if so, who with?

Your data will be shared with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Dods and additional third parties as outlined in our privacy notice

Is catering provided?

Lunch and refreshments will be provided as part of the registration fee. You will be able to inform us of any dietary requirement during the registration process however if you do need to contact us to inform us about any dietary requirements, please contact us via email nice@dodsgroup.com.

What is the dress code for the event?

Your usual office attire.

Will there be photography at the event?

There will be an official photographer at the conference. If you do not want your photograph used in any materials, please let the photographer know.

What is the Shared Learning Awards 2021?

The NICE Shared Learning Awards recognise and reward examples of how NICE guidance and standards have been put into practice. Three projects will be presented at a networking reception the night before the NICE Annual Conference on 12 May 2021, where the audience will vote live for the winner!

When is the Shared Learning Awards 2021?

The NICE Shared Learning Awards will take place from 7pm on 12 May 2021 at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester Hotel during a pre-event networking reception.

Is the Shared Learning Awards networking reception free to attend?

Yes, the evening event is open to all conference delegates. Please inform us that you will be attending during the registration process.

If you inform us that you are attending the awards during registration and are no longer able to attend, please kindly let us know by emailing nice@dodsgroup.com

Is accommodation included in the ticket price?

No, delegate hotel accommodation will need to be booked separately. If you require accommodation for the event, please see the accommodation pages to see the preferential rates Marketing Manchester has secured at various hotels in close proximity to the venue.
